Many people get turned off by the word dance, others are drawn right in. The type of dance and movement I teach is primarily for one’s sense of experience, rather than performance. I combine physicality, dance improvisation, experiential anatomy, body-mindfulness, eco-somatics and play.

There is continued and increasing research about the connection between the intellectual mind, the emotional mind and the rest of the body, which keeps the score. Pretty much all of us have heard about how stress can manifest in the body and that nature is a healer…. And oh don’t we need it, living in the fast paced tech savvy 21st century!  

Let's slow down, breathe for a moment and reconnect to our bodies.

Morning Glory


Every Thursday throughout April and May 2024, in Mödling - come join a morning dance at @klangbaeckerei to shake it out and energise yourself for the day.

There will be a 15 mins guided warmup to begin.

Dance in nature.


The benefits of dancing in the nature are manifold. In this latest offering in the UAE, we will explore the movement practices of Capoeira, Contact Improvisation, and Somatic Embodiment. The weekend is focused on researching non-verbal ways of communication, cherishing the differences and common ground. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen the research and allow a performative quality to emerge. Our goal is to create a community oriented site-specific improvisation in nature, as a culmination of the weekend workshop.

Embodiment training.


In these sessions we work with presence. The practices range from working with our inner realm, to notice the sensations inside our bodies, as well as on the physical outer realm. There is a general intention to provide tools for each person to gain agility and develop a more in depth understanding of their own body. 

This training happens in a group class or 1on1, online or in person.

Contact Improvisation: Essentials


CI is an artful and athletic dance form focusing on touch, gravity and weight sharing. In these classes we explore these core aspects together. You can expect to focus on bodily awareness and physical reflexes, rather than consciously controlled movements.

This training happens in a group class or 1on1 coaching is also available.
